Siemens Type WL low voltage metal-enclosed switchgear is designed, constructed and tested to provide superior power distribution, power monitoring and control.  At the heart of the Type WL low voltage switchgear is the world class Siemens WL breaker.  The Type WL low voltage switchgear assembly consists of one or more metal-enclosed vertical sections.  Each vertical section consists of up to four individually enclosed breaker or auxiliary compartments which are designed to provide superior modularity and uniform height. Included in each assembly (lineup) are various components such as WL circuit breakers, instrumentation and control equipment, transformers, relays, three-phase bus work and all internal wiring, connectors and other supporting equipment.

Plant Engineering magazine held its 21st Annual Product of the Year Competition and EABU is pleased to announce the WL Arc Resistant Low Voltage Switchgear is the Silver Award winner.  The competition is to honor new products in the plant engineering markets and also features products that help manufacturers operate safer and more efficiently.

Siemens WL arc-resistant low voltage switchgear is designed, constructed and performance tested to IEEE C37.20.7-2007.  Siemens is the first major manufacturer to offer metal-enclosed low voltage switchgear that complies with the revised IEEE arc resistant standard.  It provides an additional degree of protection from the hazards of internal arcing faults.  It features Type 2 arc resistance to protect personnel while performing normal operating duties. The internal venting system with pressure dams and pressure vents channels the flow of arc fault gases and vent these gases out the top of the gear and away from personnel.  Our switchgear offers superior power distribution, power monitoring and control.
