PS Information Manager

Maintaining the accuracy of data residing in multiple repositories at your plant drives efficient operations and helps ensure compliance.  In particular, it is essential that information concerning process chemicals, technology and equipment is accurate, accessible and consistent.

Siemens combines its process safety and data mangement expertise to deliver PS Information Manager.  

PS Information Manager serves as a system of record for PSI (Process Safety Information) attributes.  The application allows you to configure PSI attributes at the equipment level.  In addition, you can also store engineering documents at the equipment level and label these documents as source for each PSI attribute.  

PS Information Manager also gives you the ability to connect third party systems (like SAP, P&ID, etc.) and to compare PSI information.  The program provides a series of attribute reports identifying the discrepancies across multiple systems.
