Siemens Introduces Power Mod
New Line of Modular Metering Products Feature Patented QuickSystem Technology
ATLANTA -- Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. today announced the introduction of its new
Power Mod(TM) line of Modular Metering Products with QuickSystem(TM). The new line features more regionally targeted products including dedicated EUSERC designs for West Coast customers.
Power Mod features a unique combination of labor saving features to aid the contractor while installing the product. One of the key features of the new product line is QuickSystem. QuickSystem encompasses every step of installation of the product, from mounting the product on the wall to plugging in the tenant circuit breaker. These five key features were specifically engineered to decrease installation time:
- QuickBolt(TM): Spring loaded, captive bolts provides faster and easier connections between modules and eliminate lost hardware
- QuickConnect(TM): Redesigned single bolt joint allows for easier, faster and more secure enclosure connection in a modular lineup
- QuickPhase(TM): Field phase-able sockets streamline ordering and phase balancing
- QuickTorque(TM): Proper torque is simplified with a breakaway nut design
The blank and removable endwalls of the new modular metering product line provide for maximum flexibility in conduit placement. Power Mod also features a premier mounting system including an exclusive rolling mount design with the security of extended mounting tabs.
The Power Mod line has undergone extensive review and testing and meets the highest standard of safety with all UL listed products and accessories.
Siemens modular metering is available for single phase, three wire, 120/240VAC; three phase, four wire 120/208Y applications, and three phase in/out, 240Volt max delta systems. The cross bus that connects the devices is aluminum and has a 1200 amp continuous current rating.
