Siemens Appoints Yates, Jain & Shepherd To New Leadership Roles

ATLANTA — Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. (SE&A) announced today that Kevin Yates has been named vice president of the Residential Products Division. Additionally, Tim Shepherd has been appointed vice president of the Automotive and Aerospace Center of Competence, and Arun Jain has been appointed vice president of the Food and Beverage Center of Competence. These appointments are effective immediately.

Before being named vice president of the Residential Products Division (RPD), Yates served as the director of Residential marketing where he assisted in leading operation improvements.  Previously, Yates held positions as Plant Manager and Manufacturing Manager at Spartanburg as well as Manufacturing Manager at the RPD facility in Tucker, Ga.

Shepherd joins SE&A from Siemens A&D Nuremburg, where he was responsible for the global SIMATIC HMI product line and for driving strategy and products to penetrate new markets.  He has worked for Siemens since 1980 in multiple roles and multiple countries including Germany, Norway and his home country of the United Kingdom.

Prior to assuming the role of vice president of the Food and Beverage Center of Competence, Arun Jain was responsible for significant market growth as the Production Machines Business Unit Manager in the Automation & Motion Division. He was appointed to this position in 2002.
