SINAMICS S110 – Introducing the simple, economical, innovative servo for positioning
Designed to accomplish your positioning tasks as quickly and simply as possible, the SINAMICS S110 servo drive provides precise positioning with innovative plug-and-play functionality.
The SINAMICS S110 servo drive includes integrated positioning functions for servo as well as induction motors.
As a modular single-axis drive it covers a wide power range from 0.12 kW to 90kW in a compact design.
Flexible control is provided by onboard I/O or selectable communication interfaces. The built-in positioner provides 16 traversing task or position following capabilities for integration with a higher-level controller. Point-to-point positioning can be accomplished with relative or absolute moves along with traversing profiles and position changes on the fly. Positioning tasks are programmed in the graphics-based STARTER software for simple configuration of motion tasks without the need for G-code programming. on-board safety terminals.

SINAMICS S110 can operate various synchronous and induction motors. Siemens 1FK7 and 1FT7 synchronous servomotors as well as the smooth-running 1PH7 induction motor offer a digital DRIVE-CLiQ interface with electronic-type plates resulting in automatic configuration with the SINAMICS S110 drive. When a motor with the DRIVE-CLiQ interface is used, encoder feedback and motor parameterization is handled effortlessly in a plug & play fashion.
