The New Generation of Panelboard Products

This new generation of panelboard products represents the high level of engineering innovation expected from Siemens. With flexibility and strength added to the existing rugged and durable panelboard family, Siemens panelboards are extremely easy to install. These newer designs also simplify wiring and reduce material requirements, saving additional installation time. Siemens offers both assembled and unassembled panelboards in Type P1, which are designed to meet shorter lead time requirements.

Siemens new technology circuit breakers offer significant benefits and better coordination with up stream breakers that help meet 2005 and 2008 NEC® Code requirements for selective coordination for Emergency, Legally Required Standby and Essential Electrical System.

Panelboards

Type P1 The industry most flexible design to virtually eliminate the impact of common mistakes like feed direction and main lug versus main breaker.	Type P4 A mid-sized distribution panel that allows fusible as well as circuit breaker branch and main devices.
Type P2 To fit demanding specifications, the P2 offers an array of factory-assembled options with the ability to mix breaker frames in unit space up to 250 amps.	Type P5 Larger fusible, circuit breaker and main devices give maximum power to the distribution system which anchor the other end of the series.
Type P3 Sized more like a lighting panel for tight areas, the P3 is another flexible and innovative panel that packs the power of a distribution panel.	Type P1 Unassembled To better serve customers, Siemens offers an Authorized Unassembled Panelboard Distributor Program. Benefits of the program are same day delivery, competitive pricing, flexibility and ease of assembly and product consistency.
