Required Training
Engineering proficiency is a required part of the Process Automation Module and each Solution Partner is required to have trained PCS 7 engineers on staff.
The required initial classes as a Process Automation Solution Partner are PCS 7 SP Engineering 1 and 2.
To assure proficiency, Siemens offers its Solution Partners a unique PCS 7 internship program. Recent graduates of SP1 & SP2 are given the opportunity to hone their new skills as members of Siemens project team. This safe and controlled learning environment enhances the Solution Partner's capability to deliver high quality engineering and customer satisfaction on every project.
The Solution Partner Program also requires annual training to maintain PCS 7 proficiency and enables partners to be up to date on the latest product features. The annual Spring Training and Automation Summit are two events that focus on product knowledge transfer and sharing best practices.
