SITRANS F - Flow Measurement
Siemens comprehensive line of transmitters ranges from simple flow indicators to highly sophisticated, bus compatible measurement converters. Siemens flow transmitters are engineered for high performance, easy installation, operation and maintenance even in some of the most demanding environments.
The SITRANS FM is designed to measure the flow of almost any electrically conductive liquid, as well as sludges, pastes and slurries. A prerequisite is that the medium must have a certain minimum conductivity. The temperature, pressure, viscosity and density have little influence on the result.
SITRANS F C flowmeters are used to measure liquids or gases. In addition to mass flow, the Coriolis mass flowmeter, provides information on media density, fraction and temperature.
SITRANS F US ultrasonic flowmeters are available for measuring conductive and non-conductive liquids and gases in a wide variety of applications, depending on the technology.
SITRANS FX300 vortex flowmeter series is equipped with a temperature sensor and an optional pressure sensor. The vortex principle is used to measure the temperature, pressure and flow of steam, gases and liquids and for applications requiring reliable flow measurement independent of dynamic pressure, temperature, viscosity and density variations.
Open Channel Flow Measurement
Open Channel flowmeters use a non-contacting level measurement reading and mathematical algorithms to provide continuous flow monitoring of flumes, weirs or channels. The OCM III is a high accuracy ultrasonic flow monitor for open channels.
