Weighing & Feeding - Belt Scales

Belt Scales

From quarried stone to flour, Siemens conveyor belt scales will measure production rates and inventory movement, helping you improve process efficiency and flow rate control. They combine simple, drop-in installation, low maintenance, and repeatable accuracy for productive operation.

The patented weigh frames have no moving parts. A periodic calibration check is generally the only maintenance required. With the MSI, MMI and MUS models, parallelogram-style load cells provide fast reaction only to vertical forces. Load cells are impervious to off-center loading, side force or idler friction. This results in accuracy of 0.5% or better on most models, and repeatability even in applications with significant variations in product loading. Connected to an integrator, along with a speed sensor, the belt scale system will provide information on rate, total, belt load, and belt speed. Various models are available for special applications, including restricted spaces, critical applications and extra heavy duty loading.

Weigh Bridges operate in conjunction with a conveyor belt scale, providing a load signal to an integrator for calculation of belt speed, belt loading, rate, and totalized weight

MLC
Low-capacity belt scale weigh bridge for light belt loading

WD600
Light to medium duty weigh deck to be used in an existing slider bed belt conveyor

MBS
Basic, modular, medium-duty weigh bridge providing dynamic weighing information for process indication

MUS
Modular designed medium-duty belt scale weigh bridge for process indication

MCS
Compact, rugged belt scale weigh bridge with stainless steel load cells for use in mobile crushers and aggregate screening plants

MSI
Heavy-duty, high-accuracy single idler belt scale weigh bridge for process and load-out control

MMI
Heavy-duty, high-accuracy multiple idler belt scale weigh bridge for critical process and load-out control. The MMI can be approved as legal for trade when used with a Milltronics BW 500

MWL
Mechanical calibration weight lifter for MSI, MMI, and MUS belt scales

Integrators process sensor signals into operating data for continuous in-line weighing. They can take over basic control functions traditionally handled by other devices, like PID and batch control.

BW 100
Economical integrator for use with belt scales

BW500 (Now NTEP Approved)
Full feature integrator for use with belt scales and weigh feeders
